lol, it started over a comment in one of arch's story things, it was supposed to be humorous and complementing his work at the same itme but it came out the wrong way! Anyways, arch said something in one of my stories that was a joke or.. something, i'm not sure how, but anyways we joked about it in an e-mail thing, so i guess it just kind of found it's what here. :) lol, so if its pissed everyone off sorry about that, i'll take responsibility (Or however you spell it, not too good at 11:27) since it probably was my fault in the first place. Now... Back to writing! Mwuhahahaha..

Oh, #$%$ you. An attachment to fire the MISSILE so the weapon itself wasnt directly attatched to the glass longsword! IN THIS WAY THE GLASS DOESNT SUPERHEAT, MELT, BREAK OFF ETC.!

To clear things up, again:I never intended to start a series, all I wanted to do was write a concept for the begining scene of Halo '2'. If I had been planning a sequel, I would have used a more...friendly name.Also, the series is not called 'Pre-Op' damnit. The second addition to the series is the events that happen directly before the Battle of Beta-Tucanae. Sorry if that wasn't clearly evident. Maybe I could get Louis to change the title names, but untill then, understand that everything I write goes under the same series.Oh, and I'd like to point out that the bad spelling is a result of late-night typing, and the lack of a checker in Notepad. Next time I will use Outlook Express to spell check my stories before I send them in.P.S. Vector40, I'm working on a submittion for Zenith. I keep my word.

One thing I notice is that your series has no title. Your first part was called "...Must Carry You Out." This one's called "Pre-Op-The Battle of Beta Tucaene." Is the series called "Pre-Op?" A good...wait not good, awesome chapter!

Where does every-one get the names for their, ships, stoires and characters? Is it a book or something? Thanks Vec, I saw a couple other errors along the way too, and the conjunctive clauses have been a repeated screwup.And yes, the next part is the good stuff. This 'chapter' is just there to set up the events to come, and man do they need it. Lets just say that the next part will be funner for those who decided to buy the soundtrack...I hope you can read fast.

Excellent work :)Really well done. Good set up - now I'm waiting for the rest ;) One pointer - when "its" is used as a possesive, it doesn't use an apostrophe. i.e. He picked up the gun. Its barrel was long. When you're using it as a contraction (shortened from "it is"), it takes an apostrophe, but not the possessive.Anyway, just a pointer. Nice story :) -v

Just to cover a descrepancy between my two works.In '...must carry you out' I stated that the battle of Reach took place only a few days prior to the Cheif's return.In 'Pre-Op' however, I stated that it had been nearly a month since the Cheif left Reach.I thought about it for a while and decided that a) The UNSC could not retro fit it's fleet in a matter of days. b) A new suit and weapons could not be designed in a matter of days, and c) the time accumulated by the Trans-light subspace drive plus the Cheif's time on Halo must be at least 20 days total, given the way cryo sleep is used to conserve energy and supplies.And thanks for the compliments.
