I may have said before, monitor I am sorry for making such a jackass of myself when Flight of the Thunderbird was posted, but you know gotta defend myself. Any ways great story I wondered if any one would think of something besides the Flood. Great story I'm waiting to see how it turns out. just keep away from the Grunt part at the beginnig 8/10.

Thanks a lot for the comments evryone! Diablo yes I've read "The Hot Zone" by Richard Preston and I've seen Outbreak, the virus that I have made up is based on Ebloa and the strain that your talking about in the monkey is Ebloa Reston. There are many strains of ebloa and an outbreak of ebloa would be ten times worse then AIDS or CANCER or any other virus that this earth has seen. No wonder it is a Bio saftey level 4 virus just like West nile, with no known cure. Saturn you just wait and see the plot may be a little more than you would expect I like to give hints. Oh and Saturn the virus is a little bit more complex.

Don't you just love it when people yell at themselves? When they act like their not the ones leaving the bad comments even though they've admitted to doing it lol...

Oh and Saturn's right. There was once a form of Ebola virus in the United states that was actually airborne, but it turned out it only killed Monkeys, which was a close call, cause only about 2% of the population would survive such a dreadful virus.

Cool idea. I wonder if it was at all inspired by our current War with Iraq. I hope you keep this series alive. Too soon to tell about the plot, but you've said that it gets better, so I'll wait to comment, for now. Keep it up!

bio-weapons! a very unique and fresh idea. I have the impression that johnson made the grenade but im a little confused. Just remember that a virus that kills covenant does not necessarliy kill humans, but it can, for you next story.

I was going to complain that you already revealed the whole plot too early, but you remedied that with your post. Most all of the complaints I had early on (such as the seemingly meaningless grunt appearance) were later cured as well, but tehre was almost no loose ends in this fanfic that would need to be tied in a later fanfic besides what the Grunt had seen. A little more decription in regards to the environment would have been nice, but this one seems to be consistent in quality with most other fanfics.
Good luck on this one...

Thanks TM. I was thinking before I started this one, if I should have named it Outbreak or The Plague, but came up with The Virus.

Congrats monitor101, a fresh idea with some interesting scope. Don't make it too linear, and this ought to be one to watch.
The title's good- It's a bold, to-the-point title that let's you know the core of the idea of the story. And as no one's done one on a Plague before, it should draw readers.

Well I hope this makes up for my last fic. I tried to indent but the thing wouldn't let me. If you think that it doesn't havea plot, think again. This story will have several twists and turns.
