Wow, that was pretty awesome, yo. I think you have a serious future here. It did seem slightly played from Orson Scott Card's Ender's Shadow, but it had its differences. Only one question: how did they know what ammo fit what guns, and why didn't they check the ammo boxes and the guns to see? I'd imagine they're not that stupid. And the Prophets would probably have some kind of shielding or armor or guard, but hey, whatever floats your boat. 9.2/10.

It's good and all, a fresh story, but how did he know what a prophet was?
Also, at first he didn't know what a brute was, but then he did. So make sure not to conflict like that.

I like this a lot - it's a great idea to have the freedom fighters, the orphans - the people that get left behind. Well I'm looking forward to reading more = only thing is - I would have liked to have seen more description in the action other than that - lovely.
