The main story had some plot to it, but towards the end it kinda lost me.

It's a movie, with John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson, and it's about these marines training for ....Seals (not sure, some Spec Ops), and they have to go through a rigorous course. They had a real hardass Sargeant too, and he was supposedly killed in a training accident by one of the people in the team, but that's about as close as it gets.
