Good story 343 SB, by now of the mentioning of Wado, what happened to him, he wrote so damn good fanfictions, very interesting addicting, well plotted and well written. Once you started reading them you had to force your self to stop.
Coming back to subject i liked your story 9.7/10

No, I mean it. Look at Ackerson - the way you have shown him.
His ambition - Evidently, he wants himself and his special forces at the top of everything, and also to keep others from climbing to his level. How similar is that to Josef Stalin? Dictators? The World Wars?
Symbolism. Allusion. Philosophical values showing Human Nature, and how the Spartans are perfect in the fact that they do not share the nature to rise to the top and keep others from climbing to higher levels. It shows compassion, like Keats.
It shows that the Spartans are not the stereotypical 'bloodthirsty' supersoldiers from other stories. They have feelings too, and even though they never express themselves, they just have.
REAL TALENT!
Alluding to the past, no doubt. You've got potential 343 Salty Beans.
- Dave.

Yeah, Dave, I'm not that good. :) This is just a fun pastime, I'm normally at the beach. I know Halo FFs are really nothing now, with rare exceptions (like the regulars, theirs are GOOD). And this would NEVER get published, even if you aren't yanking my...chain.

Great story. But I think Dave Luck below is pulling your leg here.

I think that this one FINALLY contained some satire, allusion, and even: SYMBOLISM!
Satire:
We all try to get to the top, and keep others from reaching our levels. I think that that was what that arrogant soldier was trying to do - get over John's helmet, and keep him from climbing back up.
Not only that, but it seemed it also carried a greater meaning. Colonel Ackerson seems to be more than arrogant. He seems to be the one behind this.
I can see, 343 Salty Beans, that Ackerson is like the next Josef Stalin. Trying to rise to the top in a time of crisis and despair, and using force to keep all the rest from climbing to his level.
I'm rating this story among professional writing, because it IS professional writing!
343 Salty Beans, what are you DOING in this hellhole of nonsense and despair where Halo Fanfiction Stories on this site have become nothing but a jumble of characters? You're way too good for this! Your art doesn't deserve to be treated so poorly! YOU BELITTLE YOURSELF!!
Get out into the big world, publish your writing! Go and get syndicated! It's too good for the likes of n00bs like us!
