Witness of Death
To witness death, Is a painful site, It gives you chills, It give you frights.
But through your heart, And through your soul, Remembering the times, When it wasn't cold.
You think of him, Everyday, When he was alive, And now he's dead.
A Marine died in your hands, A Marine that you knew so much, For him to die, In your clutch.
The sky is blue, The streets are black, The Air is cold, But the light lacks.
To have a human, Die in your hands, The humiliation, When you thought you were a band.
Hell brought death, Covenant brought war, Heaven not here, Makes you sore.
But revenge takes place, The one without fear, The one that fights, The one that wins.
To witness death, In the Covenant wrath, Young or old, But to always to die.
~Note~I wish to get some feedback if I can. And this might seem to you as somewhat rushed. I'm not sure what you think, but you tell me if it was rushed.~End Note~
