They came to kill us, To murder us unarmed, Desperately I fight.
I pull the trigger on my weapon again and again- puncturing my enemy in a thousand places-and yet he still he comes forward.
His mouth opens and he screams a song of blood lust, of glory and of slaughter.
They came to kill us, To murder us unarmed, Desperately I fight.
He fires his weapon, I cower behind any protection I can find-and the flames in his eyes tell a story of utmost hatred.
He finds me, the coward that I am, and I try to squirm away from death's velvet grasp.
They came to kill us, To murder us unarmed, Desperately I fight.
I sink into my own consciousness, as the fire that pours from his rifle envelopes me in flames-I no longer live.
And yet, as I die, I know that a new day will come and I will watch the sunrise from that divine place beyond life.
