-- AS TOLD BY HUNTER_KILLER --
1000 Hours, November 6th, 2003(Military Calendar)/ Inside Halo: Combat Evolved for the PC Ringworld Halo 004, Valley of the T&R
I looked at my squad in the Passengers' Cabin; even though I couldn't see their faces in the dark that it was in there, I could tell the Marines were either scared shitless, or wondering if they would survive the assault. The HBOers were the opposite; cool, calm, and checking their weapons one last time. After all, every HBOer had played this level at least 10 times over. "Touchdown in ten seconds," The pilot's voice came over the squad radio, and I hung on to the bar above my seat as we came in for the final approach. The two dropships swooped down onto the valley, over which the Truth and Reconciliation was hovering, and sat down at the place you unload at the start of the level. The hatch opened, and I ordered, "Men! Move out double-quick! Move! Move!!" The troopers unloaded from the Dropship, and the other group also emerged. We took up holding positions, and I went up to the sniper spot. Our air rides rose into the air, and sped away to help other HBOers and Marines. I took aim on the x13 scope on my hacked AR, and let loose 30 Fragmentation Grenades into the hapless enemies in the little depression below. A second later, a firestorm from hell incinerated every enemy in sight, and sent the Shade Turrets up 500 meters into the air. "Whoa," Said SOS.Odin, and he shot a Sniper bullet at it from his Plasma Rifle for kicks. One Grunt began to get up after being damn near blinded and deafened by the hellstorm bombardment. The turret landed direct on it. The Grunt was squeezed like a ketchup packet. It burst, and blood flew in all directions, covering the corpses and charred earth within a 30 meter radius with blue blood. "Sure as hell a weird way to kill a grunt," I said to Odin, "But mighty damn fun. To bad we ain't got that for keepers." A text box popped up right in front of my face. I jumped. It said:
It's me, Frogblast. The Halo Hacker. Anyways, I can't access the T&R level, probably cause you're there. I intercepted(using my technology)at least thirty calls to Microsoft Tech Support complaining about this. Anyway, I did get that with my webcam LOL. =D I'll keep in touch and give what help I can. "Holy shit..." Said Elfster. He had about summed up popular public opinion in the combat zone. "Ok..." I asked to everyone in general. "Is this like a touch-screen thing? Do I say 'A'? I sure ain't got no controller, so I can't press it like that." "Say it," Said Odin. "Touch it," Countered Elfster. I just sighed and pressed the green portion of the box. Immediately, it disappeared. "Told 'ya," Said Elfster with zeal, and he gave Odin a raspberry. "I can't believe it!" I said honestly. "Yah," bloodsoldier3 agreed, "What childishness." "That, and that box of text. If Frog boy up there can do that, he can probably do more. Much more. Oh, da possibilities..." I pondered. "Can we PLEASE move on!?" Warbrow asked, exasperated. So, we did. And fought enemies. And Tank Shelled them to a fiery place deeper than Hell. When all was said and done, we were at the Grav-Lift, fighting the Hunters. Then, my weapons ran out of ammo. Then everyone's went dry, as more enemies came. And more. And more. And more. Eventually, the last Ghost was fired out of Warbrow's pistol, and everyone was out. Another group floated down, and suddenly my ears popped. Everything stopped. All of reality, except for me and my squads. A single Plasma bolt floated in midair, motionless. Another Text Box popped up, above the Covies:
Oh, crap. My hex codes... aren't working. Someone is blocking them! From INSIDE the game!

"It's Spark! The Monitor! He's screwing with the game! Gotta be!" I said to the text box. I picked up a Plasma Rifle, and shot the Green (A) Button from 200 meters away. The bolt hit dead center, and a series of ripples emanated from it. The box remained, but the text flashed and faded. New words lit up:
Like the last fiasco we had! Figures. Oh, and just in case you're wondering why there are more Covies than you remember, I'm picking up modifications in Halo's Fractal Coding. It ain't hexed, therefore it goes. I used a temporary code change to put the freeze on these Covie n00bs here. I can't get you more ammo or weapons... you'll have to use Halo's regular ones... I'll get to work fixing the coding, and stopping the Covies. Hang tight till then! =)
(A) To continue
I picked up a Sniper Rifle, dropped by a Dead Marine. A box of unhacked ammunition(30 Rounds)was lying there, and I loaded. Boom! The vapor trail pierced the (A), and the box slowly began to fade. A new, smaller one popped up quickly:
PS: The Fractal Coding is beginning to repair... some Covies in other zones are coming back online... I'd say you got about 5 seconds till our friends wake up.
There was no (A), it just vanished. Knowing this, we hastily grabbed the closest weapon and a few sprits of extra ammo. It would have to do for now. Several lines of 0101010101010101010101010101 became visible for a split second, replacing a square meter of the ground, as the game booted up again...
TO BE CONTINUED...
Note to Readers: Ok, people! SEND IN YO POINT OF VIEW ON ASoWE! And only send it to me, so I can post it in a special manner(like adding it to my series officially) send to: jlp8118@sbcglobal.net.
