Halo: The War of the Grunts
After a bomb had been dropped on Halo; it harmed nothing but the Covenant, destroying every one of them except for the Grunts, in which the bomb made them double the population. Now Halo, the artificial world, will determine Darwin's theory: The Survival of the Fittest.
2 million more Marines land on Halo to fight all the Grunts. Halo is now very crowded. With the Spartan IIs finally trained, humanity will finally have a chance to survive.
The Master Chief was standing at the back of a Warthog while one Marine was driving it and the other one firing the 50mm chain gun. The Master Chief had a plasma rifle in his left hand and as needler in the other hand like they were no heavier than two plasma pistols.
When the Master Chief saw a Grunt activate a plasma grenade, he instinctively fired 4 exploding needles at the Grunt to make the Grunt's head explode and make the grenade kill the Grunts around it.
Another Grunt fired a charged plasma beam at the Warthog, destroying the Warthog and killed the two Marines in the Warthog. The Master Chief used his great strength to rip off the 50mm chain gun and fired the remaining 200 or so rounds when he jumped off the Warthog just in time.
He opened the box that he retrieved from the flaming Warthog as two Spartan IIs came to guard the Master Chief. The Master Chief took the Jackhammer missile launcher and fired 5 missiles before Cortana the AI said "There's an empty Ghost vehicle .12 kilometers to the right of you."
This was a good thing because Ghosts are pretty good when it comes to running grunts over. The only thing better is a Scorpion tank. The Master Chief shot a couple of Grunts on his way to the Ghost and there he met a group of Grunts. He shot the ones that tried to take the Ghost and grabbed a needler from a Grunt and kicked his body into a wall dead. He needled the remaining Grunts and grabbed 20 grenades, a plasma rifle, a needler, and as much ammunition as he can hold.
The Master Chief drove the Ghost ferociously and shooting all the Grunts in his path. He tossed 4 grenades at super fast speed and the Grunts just panic and run into each other probably saying "Help! Grenade!"
By now, the Master Chief is used to Covenant weapons. He knows how to use them more than the Covenant. But the covenant managed to throw 2 plasma grenades at the Ghost.
"Holy S***" said the Master Chief. He jumped out of the Ghost, threw 2 grenades at the grunts and opened fire with his plasma rifle and needler. He ducked to dodge a plasma grenade that landed on another Grunt when reinforcements finally came.
The Master Chief jumped very high to get on the Scorpion. He reloaded his weapons and joined the tank to massacre the Grunts. "Detected laser cannon" said Cortana "They're charging it up." The Master Chief could not afford to lose a Scorpion so he took out his needler and plasma rifle and killed the Grunts that were arming the laser cannon.
The Master Chief tossed all his remaining plasma grenades plus a few fragmental grenades to assist with the Scorpion's rockets and machine gun.
The marines fired a rocket at a cliff and made an avalanche at the grunts. Sadly, it also buried a Warthog and at least 4 marines. The Spartan II ran fast enough to get out of the rocks.
"Hey Master Chief." said a Spartan II "What?" said Master Chief.
"You got any extra ammo?"
"Yeah, sure, here," The Master Chief gave him some plasma rifle clips.
"Thanks"
A Pelican dropship landed and out came 4 Warthogs, more marines, and plenty of weapons. The Pelican fired Archer Missiles at the Grunts to ward them off as the Pelican dropped off soldiers and crates of ammunition.
The Master Chief emptied his clip of plasma and exploding needles and grabbed two MA5Bs with plenty of armor piercing rounds. He also took a couple of 300-round drum magazines when he needs it.
Armed with 2 MA5Bs, the Master Chief jumped on top of a little hill and opened fire. But a Grunt charged his plasma pistol and carefully aimed at the Master Chief. The Grunt fires the large bolt of plasma. The plasma is speeding at the Master Chief.
