Ground should be down,
Not up."
He nods agreement to his own statement.
He's right;
It ain't natural,
But it is beautiful,
In its own inherent impossibility.
You look up and see it hanging,
A ten thousand thousand meters above you,
As if waiting,
Just waiting,
To crush you with its titanic weight.
A panic clutches you,
And you see it falling,
But never getting bigger,
And you realize it's ridiculous,
And it stops falling.
Vertigo.
