This is a Parody of the song "I am Rock", by Simon and Garfunkle. Enjoy
(Verse one)
Winter's day,
In the darkness of space,
I'm am a Marine,
Gazing from my gun to the Covenant below,
With a pull of my trigger I hear the gun blow.
(Refrain)
I'm a Marine,
I'm a Earth's defender
(Guitar solo)
(Verse two)
Don't talk of Reach,
But I've heard the words before,
It's burning in my memory,
I won't disturb the anger, of feelings that have died,
If I never saw it I never would have cried.
(Refrain)
(Verse three)
I have my Sergeants,
And my fellow Marines to protect me,
I'm shielded in my flak jacket.
Hiding in a corner,
Safe before the horror,
I shoot no one and no one shoots me.
(Refrain)
(Bridge)
And a Marine feels no pain.
And a defender never cries.
