We die with the dying.
As they died, we rose from their ashes. One mind, in many bodies. The perfect race.
See, they depart, and we go with them.
For a time, we were destroyed, our bodies swept into graves and sealed. But we never die, not truly.
We are born with the dead.
They arrived, reclaimed, and we awakened. We are born with the doomed, so do we live.
See, they return, and bring us with them.
They came back, filling our halls with prey. We feasted, and grew. They fled, and we followed.
For the moment of the rose and the moment of the yew-tree
Time is nothing. We are sin, we are perfection, and we shall remain. We are forever.
Are of equal duration.
As their lives go by, we wait, and watch. What is the simple passing of time when you have eternity?
