One Hero, Part 1

He rose above the shadows,
Against all tides he prevailed.
The destruction of planets could not make him weep,
Not even the one from which he hailed.
His brothers and sisters dead,
His fellow soldiers fled,
And he alone stood against the tide.
The flood began,
Against him, they ran,
But he won.
He always won.
So one soldier set out from the ring.
The stench of death still clings,
But he prevailed.
He never failed.
So he left, for his last home,
But it could not escape evil's comb.
With his incredible AI,
And help from the prophet's eye,
He fought them.
What became of him?
For all hopes were dim.
And yet he struggled,
But could he win?
Ages Lost: One Hero, part 2

So it has began,
This final journey.
Either you have ran,
Or found the great key.
But hope is fading for him,
His life could soon find its end.
For what is a warrior with no sword?
How can he fight this neverending horde?
Faith has failed the eye,
He will soon die as well.
The Prophets abandoned their one hero,
Into the deadly fires of hell.
So begins this final fight,
But will they both set flight?
The grave's silence is becoming thin,
One last oasis, saved from this endless din.
Heros will rise, and heros will fall,
Until few can walks those glorious halls.
One thing, though, has yet to be seen:
Can we have some more levels on Earth, Bungie?
